An unforgettable evening
Since most guests had traveled all the way from the USA, it quickly became clear that this wedding would be more than just a one-day celebration – and for good reason! With the long journey and many guests visiting Germany for the first time, Kyla and Connor wanted to create a truly special experience for their loved ones.
The evening before the wedding, we organized a relaxed get-together – on the breathtaking Moselle River! We chartered a private cruise ship exclusively for their guests, offering them a unique opportunity to take in the stunning scenery and admire Schloss Lieser from a whole new perspective.
On board, traditional German specialties like Flammkuchen were served, while the ship slowly glided along the Moselle. As the sun set, guests marveled at the majestic Schloss Lieser, illuminated in the evening light—an absolutely magical sight. It was the perfect start to an unforgettable wedding weekend!
Tailored for Our Couple
As planners and designers, at Rockwedding it is particularly important for us to make every wedding as unique as the couple. It’s not just about the obvious elements such as the venue or the wedding dress, but also the finer details that complete the overall look – from color selection to seating arrangements and stationery.
In our discussions with Kyla & Connor, it quickly became clear that they were open to a bold color scheme. Connor’s favorite color, a vibrant orange, served as the starting point. Together, we decided to center the colors orange and desert sage. This harmonious blend of warm, earthy tones with a touch of glamour not only created a stunning color dynamic but also reflected the couple’s personalities perfectly.
The result was a unique, bespoke color scheme that beautifully complemented the wedding decor.
Seating for the Ceremony
Kyla & Connor’s wedding ceremony took place on the helicopter pad in front of Schloss Lieser. To seamlessly integrate the round space into our design, we chose a semi-circular seating arrangement that created an intimate atmosphere and offered a clear view of the couple and the castle. For the bride’s entrance, we chose a unique path: Kyla entered through the underground garage directly beneath the helicopter pad, making the moment truly special.
Live-Band, Sweet Table & More
After the ceremony, the guests moved directly to the cocktail hour, which took place on the terrace of Schloss Lieser. With a view of the picturesque Moselle and accompanied by a live band, perfectly arranged by Bernarts Music, the guests enjoyed a relaxed atmosphere and musical accompaniment. To make the experience even more unique, we took advantage of the exclusive rental of Schloss Lieser to change locations multiple times – from the ceremony to the cocktail hour, followed by the dinner and later the party. This transition between indoor spaces and outdoor areas created continuous WOW moments.
Another highlight of the cocktail hour was the Sweet Table, which enticed the guests with a variety of treats: different sweets represented the countries that the couple had already visited. Each sweet symbolized a country, telling the travel story of Kyla & Connor.
A Romantic Atmosphere Under the Open Sky
The dinner took place in the picturesque courtyard of Schloss Lieser, and the romantic atmosphere couldn’t have been more perfect. To light up the evening, candles and fairy lights were used, creating a magical ambiance alongside accents in orange and desert sage. The couple sat at the bridal table, while the round tables were cleverly arranged around the fountain – a beautiful scene that was later perfectly captured in a stunning drone shot. An unforgettable moment for the couple and their guests!
