[/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=“normal“ color=“#d3d3d3″][vc_empty_space height=“20px“][vc_column_text]There are certainly nicer occasions to be invited to a live show: Nevertheless, our Anna-Maria was of course very happy about the opportunity to talk a little bit about the wedding planner business and marriages in times of Corona in the daily „Landesschau“ on SWR.
The current difficult time demands one thing above everything else: solidarity. Willingness to help, solidarity with each other, to support each other. It calls for experts who are happy to pass on their knowledge, to give advice and help, and thus provide peace of mind. This is also Anna-Maria’s concern when it comes to the slight panic that is slowly spreading in the wedding area. She sees herself as a crisis manager and psychologist – and is also ready to help bridal couples who are not her clients.
„The most important thing is to talk to your service providers. We are all affected by the crisis. An open approach – being able to express your concerns without hesitation – is currently worth its weight in gold. A solution can always be found,“ says Anna-Maria, „At the moment it is probably easiest to postpone weddings that fall during social distancing in favour of both sides – according to the motto „Change the date“ instead of „Save the date“. That way, cancellation costs can be avoided.“ The option for a wedding with just the two of you is also available, but for Anna-Maria’s bridal couples it is probably not an alternative: „Our bridal couples want their loved ones around them. Our wedding planner also mentions that everyone is eagerly awaiting 20.04 as the deadline of the crisis – the day when the decision will be made on how to proceed. Until then: keep calm, always try to find a conversation first and be flexible in case of an emergency.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]To not only talk about the current bad times, Anna-Maria wanted to tell about her career and her dream job of wedding planner. How she started out as a hotel manager, trained in event management and finally ended up in the wedding business. „The varied work with people is what fulfils me as a wedding planner,“ says Anna-Maria.

Especially for elaborate weddings, which are becoming more and more trendy, it is essential to be able to rely on your service provider. Glitches can also be dealt with more easily: Anna-Maria tells about a wedding where the stylist cancelled because of an emergency on the wedding day. Thanks to her wedding planner network, a replacement was quickly found!
